The Best He Ever Wrote

Some weeks ago I had a reading at an event called ‘Het Voorwoord’. I was still suffering from a cold, but decided to go anyway. In my opinion the reading was half-decent at best, but “Niels de Bruijn didn’t agree”:http://www.etcultera.nl/artikel/3564 (in Dutch). He described my story, about the ‘red planet’, as “the best [Niels ’t Hooft] ever wrote”. Also, this article reminded me that I sat very close to national childhood hero “Aart Staartjes”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aart_Staartjes during dinner.
