Preparing for an even busier week

With these weeknotes I publicly track and archive whatever it is I spend my time on.

Last week was rather busy, in a ‘preparing for an even busier week’ kind of way. Sleep was better than the week before, but still pretty bad. Most importantly, I drafted my RIVE talk for the Control Conference, set up a new Creative Industries Fund NL hybrid writer’s toolkit grant application, finished the Antegods comic script… and immediately rewrote it.

What else? I…

• Wrote and recorded a new episode of mini-mockumentary series Radio Laika for literary podcast Ondercast #29. Focusing on a frozen cosmonaut, this one was a bit shorter and simpler than usual because of time constraints.
• Visited Codeglue, where we discussed the Antegods comic book with our artist Robin Keijzer. We’re all very excited about this project!
• Worked at Two Tribes for two days. The one day I tweaked small RIVE story bits for a patch, the other I discussed the broad scope of the game’s marketing for the next year or so with Martijn and Collin.
• Went to the Maximus brewery with Pim and Stefan, which was nice.
• Started watching Joe Swanberg’s Easy on Netflix, which was also nice.
