It’s a phase, I hope
Notes on week 862
- 862 29 juli 2015 EN
With these weeknotes I track and archive whatever it is I spend my time on. They’re public so you can keep me in check.
Quiet summer weeks exist to work on the stuff you really want to work on, right? Last week that somehow didn’t pan out. I had too many meetings planned and was somehow most inclined to work on my Game Maker #hobbydev prototype. It’s a phase, I hope.
Here’s who I met up with: Matthijs and Eric at Control, Daniël at The Shoebox Diorama, Sandra, Jos at Gamious, Theodoor and Bram, and of course Rogier.
I did work on Geometry Girl a bit: I updated my app blueprint, prepared a blog post, created a writing schedule (without actually writing) and sat down with Tim to work on more detailed wireframes. I also wrote about one of the ideas behind my project for Futurebook.
Finally, in the ‘random’ category, I…
- Wrote about Amsterdoom for the Dutch Games Association platform.
- Reread my diabetes column for KIJK, which they put online.
- Worked on my revenue taxes.
- Saw some movies for the first time in a few months, including Inside Out, which has an interesting message: embrace sadness.
