Week 780

What’s this? I’m blogging about my work on a weekly basis – a simple way to track and archive whatever it is I spend my time on.

Last week was my holiday break. My family and I drove to the eastern part of the country, where I read Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami, and got started in Hatching Twitter by Nick Bilton (which should’ve been subtitled The Character Assassination of Jack Dorsey). I also watched the first season of Borgen with my parents-in-law.

There was work, too. I put my Super Mario 3D World write-up online, and composed a new games article for NRC Handelsblad, about Kentucky Route Zero. This is the fourth time I wrote about it; it may well be my favorite game of 2013.

I finished two articles for the Dutch Official PlayStation Magazine: a profile on Swedish game developer Starbreeze, and the first edition of a new column for that magazine.

Finally, I did a corrections pass on the layouted version of the applied games publication by Taskforce Innovatie, which should round off my work on that.

I also fell ill by the end of the week.
